In June 2004, Hyperlogy built firewall system with advanced features such as Virus, Spam, IPS, Web Filtering and upgraded email system for CPT. Firewall solution is based on Fortinet products.

Before that, CPT has an email system running on IMail to serve customers. However, the system does not meet demand of the ISP, namely:

  • Not integrate with LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) or SSO (Single Sign On) system
  • No ability to support large system such as shared load to servers when number of customers get high.

Therefore, upgrade became an indispensable demand. Hyperlogy has upgraded the whole email system with a solution that allows email users on the old system to migrate all their data to the new without lost of any email.

Beside email system upgrade, Hyperlogy also built a security system for CPT based on Fortinet products. These are UTM product line integrated many features on ASIC chip, consequently, product cost is decrease while increase performance and reliability.

The systems are handed over to CPT after 2 weeks of building and migrating during which the old system of CPT still worked as regular and there is no interruption.
