Upgrade new features of email system for Customer

In April and May 2007, Hyperlogy has upgraded email system for existing customers, who are using Hymail. New features include anti-spam, anti-virus, personal mail filter.

According to a research of an anti-spam group from AOL, Bell Canada, Cingular Wireless, EarthLink, France Telecom, Microsoft, Verizon and Yahoo, the number of spam email is about 80% the number of email received all over the world in first quarter of 2006. Microsoft and AOL said that they intercepted about 5 billions of spam email on average. Approximately, there are 9 spam emails in every 10 emails received at MSN Hotmail of Microsoft.

Besides, there are many other threads from Virus, Spyware, Malware and Phishing infecting through emails.

The new edition is upgraded with many new features. Basic edition includes following features:

• Anti-spam
• Anti-virus
• New virus pattern automatic update
• Personal mail filter
• Auto-lean spam pattern from user reports

Advanced edition includes more features, namely:

• SMS alert to mobile phone (In cooperation with CPT)
• Mail filter for the whole system
• Mail filter for each domain in the system
• The advanced edition is not included in free upgrade plan of Hyperlogy products.

With the new edition, most of spam emails received by users are eliminated. However anti-spam is an endless battle. A stable system needs a multi-tier security strategy including: multi-tier firewall, multi-tier anti-spam, multi-tier anti-virus… Hyperlogy will always consult with pleasure and carry out optimal solutions to customers.
